Privacy Policy — Iqea Technologies Inc.

Iqea Technologies Inc. ("Iqea", "we", "us") builds software for cloud data platforms. This policy covers our website (iqea.ai), our correspondence with you, and our products — including X-RAY, our Snowflake Native Application, which has its own section below because its answer is the shortest: Iqea does not collect your data through X-RAY. It runs entirely inside your own Snowflake account, makes no external network calls, and none of the data it reads is ever transmitted to Iqea or to anyone else.

2. Our website

iqea.ai collects very little:

• Early-access form. If you submit your work email address, we store it and use it to contact you about early access and related updates. We do not sell it or share it with third parties, and you can ask us to delete it at any time via support@iqea.ai.
• Analytics cookies. iqea.ai uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, to measure how the site is used — which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and roughly where they are. To do this, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_*, retained for up to two years) that give your browser a random identifier. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We use this information only to understand aggregate site traffic; we do not use it for advertising, and we do not link it to the early-access form or to our correspondence with you. Google's handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can prevent collection with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, by blocking cookies for iqea.ai, or with a content blocker.

3. Correspondence

If you email us — at support@iqea.ai or any other address — we hold what you choose to send and use it to respond to you and provide support.

4. The X-RAY application: what it reads

Once you grant the IMPORTED PRIVILEGES ON SNOWFLAKE DB privilege, X-RAY reads metadata about your Snowflake account's activity from the SNOWFLAKE.ACCOUNT_USAGE schema that Snowflake maintains for you:

X-RAY does not read the contents of your tables. It reads metadata about your queries and objects, not the business data those queries returned.

Personal data

Snowflake's query history includes the user name that executed each query. X-RAY aggregates these into per-user activity summaries, and stores short excerpts of query text. If your Snowflake user names identify individuals, or if query text contains personal data, that information is present in what X-RAY processes.

This data remains inside your Snowflake account at all times. Iqea has no access to it. You remain the controller of it, and your existing agreement with Snowflake governs how Snowflake handles it.

5. The X-RAY application: where the data goes

Nowhere. Specifically:

• X-RAY reads ACCOUNT_USAGE in place and writes its results only to the METRICS.METRICS_SNAPSHOT table inside the installed application, in your account.
• The application makes no external network calls. It has no egress capability, no configured external access integration, and no mechanism to send data anywhere.
• Nothing is transmitted to Iqea, and nothing is transmitted to any third party.

Minimisation and retention

• Sample query text is truncated to 2,000 characters; error messages to 500 characters.
• Stored snapshots older than 24 hours are deleted on each refresh.
• Data is collected only when someone runs a refresh. X-RAY has no scheduled or background process; an idle installation collects nothing.
• Uninstalling the application deletes everything it created, including all stored snapshots.

6. What Iqea receives as a Snowflake listing provider

We want to be precise here, because "nothing leaves your account" is true of the data X-RAY reads but is not the whole picture.

As the provider of a Snowflake listing, Snowflake may make certain information available to us, independently of the application. Depending on the listing type and Snowflake's own product behaviour, this can include the identity of accounts that have installed or requested the listing, and aggregate telemetry about installation and usage.

This information comes from Snowflake, not from X-RAY, and it does not include your query history, your table data, or any of the metadata described in Section 4. Snowflake's handling of it is governed by your agreement with Snowflake and by the Snowflake Privacy Notice.

7. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We do not share the data described in Section 4 with anyone, because we never receive it. We do not share early-access emails or your correspondence with third parties. Google processes website analytics data on our behalf, as described in Section 2.

8. Security

X-RAY holds no credentials and stores no data outside your account. Access to what it creates is controlled by Snowflake's own privilege model: the application role it defines, and the roles you grant within your account. Its security posture is therefore inherited from your Snowflake account's configuration, which remains under your control. The limited company-side information we hold (email addresses and correspondence) is kept in access-controlled business systems.

9. Your rights and choices

Because the data X-RAY processes never leaves your Snowflake account, you retain direct and complete control of it. You can:

• Revoke the application's privileges at any time from the app's Security tab in Snowsight.
• Delete stored results by uninstalling the application, which removes everything it created. Each refresh also purges stored snapshots older than 24 hours automatically.
• Inspect exactly what is stored — it is a table in your own account, readable through the application's role.

For the website and correspondence information described in Sections 2 and 3, or the provider information described in Section 6, contact support@iqea.ai — including to ask us to delete your email address.

Depending on where you are located, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, including rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability. We will honour such requests to the extent they apply to information we actually hold.

10. International transfers

Iqea is located in the United States. The data X-RAY reads is not transferred anywhere — it stays in the Snowflake region you chose. Any correspondence or form submission you send us, and website analytics data, are processed in the United States.

11. Children

Our website and products are enterprise software and are not directed to anyone under 18.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and, where a listing requires it, in the listing's own terms. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
